2022_MayPaintParty-2HUMC Wellness EventWinter Paint Party

Westwood, New Jersey (April 20, 2022)  — Adults 18+ are invited to participate in Westwood Recreation’s latest painting party with artist/instructor Brit Sikiric.  At the Thursday, May 12th painting party participants will paint an original portrait of a sun in the Mexican folk art style – a symbol of energy and good luck.

This is the third painting party Westwood Recreation has hosted recently with participants creating a lovely winter scene and a springtime bouquet.  Like other “paint and sip” style events participants socialize while learning basic painting techniques in a relaxed, casual setting.  Both beginners and seasoned artists are encouraged to participate by registering via Community Pass at https://register.communitypass.net/westwood.  The fee is $20 for Westwood residents and $25 for non-residents.  Alcohol is neither provided or permitted at this event.

The Westwood Recreation Department runs enrichment and sport programs for children, teens and adults of all ages.  The Department is proud to be able to bring new and innovative programs to residents and neighbors in the Pascack Valley area.  For more information please email recreation@westwoodnj.gov or call the Recreation Department at 201-664-7882.
