2022 WESTWOOD RABIES CLINIC HAS BEEN POSTPONED.   

We will be extending the licensing period for 2022.  Please check back for the new dates.  

Bergen County Animal Shelter is holding Rabies Clinics on Thursday, February 10th and Thursday, February 24th from 2:00pm-4:00pm at the Bergen County Animal Shelter.  Vaccine Clinics are available by appointment only.  You can register for the clinic by using this link:  Click here to pre-register for County Rabies Clinic

Hackensack Meridian Health has opened a new mega-site  at the location of the former Lord & Taylor store, on 34 E. Ridgewood Avenue,  off Route 17 in the Fashion Center in Paramus.  The mega-site will provide children ages 5 and older as well as adults initial vaccine doses and boosters.  Hours of operation are Tuesdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wednesdays, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Appointments can be scheduled at www.hackensackmeridianhealth.org/en/covid19/schedule and walk-ins are also welcome.

Free At-Home Covid-19 Saliva Test Kit

The NJ Department of Health and Vault Medical Services have partnered to offer a free, at-home COVID-19 saliva test kit that is available to every New Jerseyan who thinks they need a test – even if you don't have symptoms.

To order a free test kit, visit learn.vaulthealth.com/nj

The kit will be shipped through UPS with next-day delivery. Once received, you will connect over Zoom with a Vault healthcare professional who will walk you through the test and answer your questions.

When complete, the test can be sent back in a prepaid package via UPS next-day shipping. You will receive your test results 24 to 48 hours after your sample arrives at the lab.

You will not be charged for the test, and you will not be asked for your credit card information.

If you received your second dose of Pfizer or Moderna 6 months ago and are 65 or older, a long-term care resident, an adult with underlying medical conditions, or an adult at increased risk of COVID-19 exposure because of your job, you are now eligible for a Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson booster shot. If you received your Johnson & Johnson dose more than two months ago, you are eligible for a Johnson & Johnson or Moderna booster shot. If you, a friend, or a family member meets the above criteria or would like more information on eligibility and assistance in finding a nearby location to receive the booster dose, please call 855-568-0545 or go online to covid19.nj.gov/finder.

Flood & Mold Information

Food Pantry

Social Services maintains a Food Pantry and Pet Food Pantry at the Westwood Borough Hall.  Donations of all types of Non-Perishable Food and Pet Food is needed.  There are collection boxes in the Borough Hall foyer.
