Anti-Rabies Clinic - 2022

Pre-Registration Rabies Clinic Form

The Westwood Health Department will hold a free Anti-Rabies Clinic on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the Train Station, on Broadway, Westwood.  CATS 1:00 - 1:30 and DOGS 1:30 - 3:00 P.M.  This year Pre-registration is required.  The form can be found on our website, or call the Health Department office and we can E-mail you the form.  Please return the registration form and previous proof of rabies to sgravina@westwoodnj.gov or drop it off in person.  The vaccine will be given to dogs and cats age four months and older.  If the owner can show proof of previous rabies inoculation, the vaccine will have a duration of three years.  Dogs and cats under one year of age, or those who cannot show proof of receiving previous rabies inoculation will have to be re-vaccinated in one year.  Dr. Cattiny from Westwood Regional Veterinary Hospital will be administering the inoculations.  All dogs and cats must be accompanied by an adult.  All cats must be in a SECURE CARRIER.   All dogs must be on a leash or in a carrier (NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES).   Any owner who brings a pet that is not secured by a leash or in a carrier will be turned away from the clinic (NO EXCEPTIONS).  Please direct all questions to the Westwood Health Department at 201-664-7100 Ext. 129.
